Don’t Call Me Switzerland (but you can call me understanding)

I am not neutral as far as politics go. I know where I stand. I am firm in what I want from government.

But on certain aspects, my leanings fall a little more towards the middle, as opposed to being far to one side.

And, even more important, I am understanding of those whose beliefs are different than mine. I can see where they are coming from and even “get” why they feel the way they feel. And therefore, I’m not filled with hate towards those who are on the opposite side of the political fence.

That’s what is making me sad, crazy, and angry this political season, is all the hate.
